Cancellation Policy for Private Lessons

At Tacoma Language Academy, we value your time and our instructors' time. To ensure a smooth scheduling process, we have established the following cancellation policy for private lessons:

1. 24-Hour Notice Requirement

If you need to cancel or reschedule a private lesson, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled lesson time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in the forfeiture of the lesson credit used to book the session.

2. How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule a lesson, please contact us through your Tacoma Language Academy account, or email your instructor directly. You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation or rescheduled lesson.

3. Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Late Cancellations (Less than 24 hours' notice): If you cancel a lesson less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, you will forfeit the lesson credit used to book the session.

No-Shows: If you fail to attend a scheduled lesson without notice, the lesson credit will also be forfeited.

4. Emergency Exceptions

We understand that emergencies happen. In the case of an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling without penalty. Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Credit Refunds

Lessons cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice are eligible for a full credit refund or rescheduling at no additional cost.

6. Rescheduling

If a lesson is rescheduled with more than 24 hours' notice, there will be no penalty. The rescheduled session will use the same credit as the original booking and will be arranged based on mutual availability.
