Overview

Spanish Chat Club is a once-weekly intermediate Spanish class built around conversation. Each six-session cycle explores three practical topics, with two consecutive classes devoted to each topic. Live sessions use the CI Immersion approach and are designed for adults who want to acquire Spanish naturally.

The class is a fit for intermediate learners, roughly A2 through B2, who already speak some Spanish and want to improve or maintain their ability. It is also a strong option for students who want better listening comprehension and more confidence speaking.

• Three practical topics per cycle, explored over two classes each.
• Small-group conversation with guidance, support, and room to participate at your own comfort level.

Homework is optional but strongly recommended. It is posted after each of the first five classes and is completed before the following class. Materials may include contextual vocabulary, short readings, cultural information, practical information, or other comprehensible Spanish. All materials are digital, and no textbook is required.

In class, you will review and expand on the homework, listen to Spanish used naturally, ask questions, share experiences, express opinions, and build vocabulary through meaningful conversation. You are never put on the spot.

Speaking is encouraged but never forced, and progress is based on comprehension, communication, and confidence rather than grammatical perfection.

By the end of a cycle, students should be better able to understand familiar conversations, participate with greater confidence and fluency, ask and answer follow-up questions, express personal opinions and experiences, and use useful vocabulary and expressions more naturally.
